Position assists in research and development, the development and testing of new products and then running and documenting of routine tests on existing products.   Will require Working in a laboratory environment running and documenting test results. Assisting in the development of medical devices - research and development and in scientific analysis and investigation. Running existing test methods for example - UV VIS Spectroscopy and Imaging Running existing work instructions for example - Sterilization, Mixing and Culturing Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following methodologies to carry out analysis by performing laboratory test, preparing specimens/samples, recording and interpreting data to report to Sr. Colleagues. Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks, keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of 2 years of college preferably in Biology, but Chemistry may be acceptable

Skills:  Advanced Microsoft Skills

Abilities:  Detail oriented, excellent writing and speaking skills, on time and self-starter

Experience:  College level research - directed by a tenured professor
