Receiving Clerk - Must be DETAILED ORIENTATED 
Job Function:
Prepares records of receipt of incoming material and equipment and posts (within JobBoss database) to open orders of suppliers. Responsible for accuracy of vendor receipts with open orders.

Essential functions include:
1.    Receiving incoming materials/purchases need to be physically counted, visually inspected and verified as to description against vendor pack list and ATI purchase order.  Any discrepancies need to be reported immediately to the ATI authorized buyer.  Castings and “Service” items (i.e. Laser, Plating, Paint, etc.) are to be tagged and taken to inspection area.
2.    Inventory control of all finished goods, WIP and raw materials (excluding bar stock) such as castings, fasteners, fittings, etc.  Accurate, current counts and locations of such must be maintained on a daily basis.
3.    Cycle counts – Count a small subset of inventory, in a specific location on a  specified day (weekly)
4.    Physical Inventory - Physically count ATI’s entire inventory (yearly)
5.    Keeping current records in JBW database as they pertain to receiving and inventory control.
Vendor pack lists need to be verified against ATI PO, “received” into JBW and forwarded to appropriate personnel (A/P, A/R).
JBW needs to reflect current inventory status at all times.
6.    Performing a monthly physical inventory on all consigned raw inventory.  Note: This is primarily ABB- owned Hastelloy and Tantalum.
7.    Collecting information for damage claims on in-transit damage.
Additional responsibilities may include:
1.    Moving material as required to Staging Areas.
2.    Keeping a clean and neat work area.
3.    Keeping vehicles clean and serviced

This is a summarization of duties and responsibilities.  Obviously, within a small organization such as ATI other tasks will arise.  A member of ATI management will verbally assign such miscellaneous tasks on a discretionary basis.


Job Qualifications:
1.    Office clerical skills.
2.    Some physical effort required in lifting less than pallet loads of goods to hand truck.
3.    Valid state motor vehicle license
4.    Permit for operation of forklift truck
