Receptionist

JOB SUMMARY:



The hours for this position is 6:50 -3:20 to prepare the front desk for our business hours start time of 7 a.m.  To start there could be some overtime with some training taking place. Starting pay would be $14/hr.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Answers telephone and routes calls promptly. Projects pleasant tone when answering and directing telephone calls.

2. Greets visitors; notifies person(s) being visited.

3. Checks mailbox every morning; receives, sorts, and promptly distributes mail and faxes.

4. Applies postage to all outgoing mail.

5. Sends outgoing faxes.

6. Prepares invoices for mailing.

7. Pleasant reception of visitors.

8. Accurate, careful typing (emphasis on accuracy, not speed).

9. Legible handwriting.

10. Professional appearance: grooming and dress consistent with desired high corporate image.

11. Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.

12. Performs other jobs and tasks as assigned by supervisor.



EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

2. At least three (3) years¿ experience as Receptionist Level 1 or equivalent.
