Recruiter Human Resource

The person in this role will be responsible for effectively connecting with Military candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews with potential candidates, communicating with hiring managers throughout the search process, and maintaining a database of candidates. Responsible for full management and execution of searches for leadership retail store’s positions, distribution center roles, and corporate opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct research and sourcing to actively recruit Military, Veteran, and Military Spouse candidates.
  • Manage candidate development and candidate flow for open positions.
  • Conduct phone screening interviews with Military candidates to determine appropriate fit.
  • Posting on Military appropriate websites, including current Military vendor’s websites.
  • Communicate with hiring managers through the sourcing and interview process.
  • Maintain the recruitment/staffing reports and database throughout the process: populate the reports/database with potential candidates and networking resources, progress through the interview process, and insights on accepts and declines on a regular basis.
  • Attend and recruit at local Military affiliated Career Fairs.
  • Assist with the scheduling and coordination of offsite Military Career Fairs and Events.
  • Work and maintain relationships with Military affiliated vendors, including reporting out on recruiting numbers.
  • Position will perform other job duties and projects, as assigned.


  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with different levels of management.
  • Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgement.
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking office atmosphere.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
