Location: South San Francisco

Anticipated to last one year, temporary assignment, could be longer or shorter

Our client company lives at the intersection of technology data science and healthcare. Their mission is to make the world's health data useful so that people enjoy longer and healthier lives. They are developing tools and devices to collect, organize and activate health data, and creating interventions to prevent and manage disease.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate. Evaluate skill level and manage the offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/declines. Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, and other groups as necessary.

• Responsible for sourcing candidates through networking, internet postings, university relations, etc.

• Passion for improving the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and recruiters. Continuous follow-up with clients to confirm staffing plans and candidate needs are met

• Compile and update reports for job openings, hires, and post-hire summaries for hiring managers.

• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.

Top Three responsibilities:

• Sourcing candidates

• Manage candidate offer process

• Update managers on job openings, hires and post hires

Required Skills:

• 4-8 years of full life cycle recruiting within Life Science and/or Technology industries

• Focus on Data Science roles

• Proven ability to effectively manage moving priorities and tasks

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively partner with hiring managers, leadership and candidates with tact and professionalism

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to document

• Basic comfort level with Google tools, spreadsheets and cloud-based databases

• Must be comfortable working alone

Nice to Have:

• Previous work experience with applicant tracking tools such as Greenhouse
