Recruiting Specialist I

Adecco is currently assisting a local client, the World’s Largest Search Engine, in their search to find a Staffing Operations Specialist. This is part of an exciting fast-growing project within the Search Engine. This is a temporary assignment slated for 12 months and will sit in Boulder, CO.

**This role must sit onsite and will not be open to remote candidates.

  • Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience.
  • Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate.
  • Evaluate skill level and manage the offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/declines.
  • Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, and other groups as necessary.
  • Responsible for sourcing candidates through networking, internet postings, university relations, etc.
  • Mentor and provide guidance and direction to recruiting coordinators.
  • Passion for improving the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and recruiters.
  • Continuous follow-up with clients to confirm staffing plans and candidate needs are met.
  • Compile and update reports for job openings, hires, and post-hire summaries for hiring managers.

Top 3 job duties:

  • Support a group of Product Area Recruiters with recruiting processes including scheduling support, posting roles, candidate follow-ups, interview feedback follow up, internal system monitoring and maintenance, offer packet support, and employee referral assistance.
  • Use data to identify the most impact process improvements, and drive changes to ensure a more efficient hiring process.
  • Partner with recruiting coordinators, online job posting team, and other internal partners to ensure a seamless and efficient end to end hiring process.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of recruiting and/or administrative experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Familiar with multiple aspects of the recruitment process; sourcing, engaging candidates, phone screening, coordinating interviews, pipelining talent, etc.
  • Experience in administration; managing bookings, diaries, data, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, and manage time efficiently, with the ability to interact comfortably with candidates and clients.
  • Experience in a client facing role, being able to manage expectations and needs.
  • Experience improving and identifying issues in processes and suggesting user focused improvements.
  • Drive to make direct impact with dynamic business unit.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of creativity, perseverance, and openness to change with a drive to take initiative and build productive relationships.
  • Demands an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and basic analytics.
