Regional Sales Manager- Southeast

Adecco Search is recruiting for a Regional Sales Executive on behalf of our client in the Compressed Air space to manage the Southeastern United States territory. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have a background of 3-5 years selling to distribution and end-users in the air compressor industry.

Our client is offering a strong starting salary along with a lucrative commission and bonus plan for the selected candidate. This is a remote opportunity that will allow the selected candidate to work out of a home office while performing the necessary travel this position will require (50% travel most of the time; can be up to 75% depending on business needs). Prospecting new distributor accounts to generate revenue.
Develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory.
Distributor Support - Proactively communicate with assigned distributors in order to establish a strong relationship with the key contacts.
Maintain continuous communication with these distributors in order to understand challenges they face as well as uncover opportunities for how we can improve in our support of them.
Track customer calls and provide reports accordingly.
Competitive intelligence.
Effectively manage quote log and follow up as needed.
Support and grow local sub-distribution.
Increase rapport with customer via effective troubleshooting of current system.
Develop understanding of competitive landscape in compressor market.


Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
5 years Compressor Industry experience preferred.
General knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatment.
Must be able to travel frequently by air travel and road to attend trainings and sales meetings.
Extremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines and database management.
Must have a good driving record and maintain a valid driver's license.
