Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Registrar in Denver, CO for our client, a nationally recognized innovative higher learning educational provider. The Registrar provides strategic leadership to plan, organize, and manage all activities associated with student records and broadly provides records management support to the university staff. The Registrar safeguards and manages student records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Higher Learning Education guidelines. The Registrar works collaboratively with the Provost, Academics, Admissions, Student Advising, Faculty, and the Information Technology departments to help address the needs of both prospective and current students. We are looking for a candidate with Graduate Degree from a regionally accredited university, ten years of experience in higher education, five (5) years of direct Registrar experience within higher education and two or more years’ experience with degree plan creation.

Responsibilities for the Registrar role in Denver, CO include:

University Leadership

Represent the Registrar’s Office in committee meetings and task forces as assigned
Coordinate functions across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of student records
Work collaboratively with Information Technology to provide solutions to improve the maintenance and processing of student records

Department Expertise

Provide leadership to ensure the effective operations of the Registrar’s Office and directly supervising the Associate Registrars
Function as the primary University data custodian for student academic records with responsibility for setting and implementing appropriate planning and policy-level standards.
Actively manage student records and ensure integrity of data in the Student Information System including, maintenance of attendance records, grades, and demographic information

Student Information Systems

Ensure that all programs, courses, and schedules are accurately built into the Student Information System
Responsible for the oversight of the programming and integrity of the degree progress audit capability including the data that informs this capability.


Graduate Degree from a regionally accredited university
Ten years of experience in higher education
Five (5) years of direct Registrar experience within higher education
Two or more years’ experience with degree plan creation
Demonstrated experience supervising employees
Broad understanding of FERPA and accreditation standards
Experience in the creation and/or modification of student degree plans
Strong customer service approach when working with students, faculty and staff
Extensive understanding of undergraduate and graduate programs of study
Thorough understanding of TES, ACE, military and alternative credit transfer guidelines
Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work independently as well as within a team to achieve results
Extensive proficiency with CampusVue Student Information System
Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Comfortable using web-based research tools
Knowledge of computerized record keeping/document imaging systems
