Regulatory Specialist

A Regulatory Specialist job in Chatsworth, CA is available through Adecco Medical and Science. You must have at least 3 years of regulatory experience and your Bachelors Degree in Science or related field. You will be responsible for all regulatory documents and materials relating to domestic cosmetics and OTC products.
Regulatory Specialist job responsibilities include:

Responsible for all regulatory documents and material relating to domestic cosmetics and OTC products.
Be familiar with regulations pertaining to products made at Aware in Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan
Assist with creating PIF files for European registration
Be familiar directly or with sources of regulations pertaining to other countries
Assist with the organization of the documentation flow to effectively control the applications of local, state, and federal laws and regulations to the projects and goods produced and claims made
Ensure that department documentation files are properly maintained.
Prepares export documents and certifications
Assist with the creation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for finished products
Creates quantitative and qualitative lists as requested
Coordinates and ensures that interdepartmental flow of work and information is properly maintained
Assist with the reviews of any new ingredient list against actual formula for accuracy before release onto production floor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferable a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field with proven track record of project management; minimum 3 years experience
Previous regulatory experience is a must
Strong Mathematical skills including basic statistical knowledge.
Possess good product knowledge.
Strong organizational skills
Good Team building skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision on multiple tasks.
