Reliability Electronics Lab Tech

Adecco, the world's leader in providing staffing solutions, is hiring a Reliability Electronics Lab Technician.

Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to perform reliability testing, lab development and maintenance in an electronics / software / mechanical environment in a Technician Level 2 role. Ability to learn test setup, testing, validation and reporting methodologies is key.
 
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership 
•    Contribute in a positive manner that aligns with team goals and objectives
•    Work in a strong team environment with willingness to learn, share and mentor associates
•    Support department EH&S and 5S housekeeping initiatives
•    Perform maintenance and continuous development of the Reliability Labs
•    Drive increase in product reliability and reduction in warranty costs

Execute Lab Work Requests 
•    Assist in set-up, component/assembly testing and reporting of test results for the Reliability Labs as requested by team lead and Lab Manager
•    Apply scientific methodology and analytical skills to test performance with high work standards
•    Support coworkers in test setup and execution to ensure strong test performance and maintain project schedules
•    Provide feedback with a sense of urgency as questions and concerns arise during all phases of test and test development
•    Provide input and feedback for test improvement

Support Department Development and Sustainment 
•    Participate in and support development of test methods and sustainment
•    Utilize best practices and application of DAC methods for test automation and test repeatability
•    Participate in and utilize Fortive Business System (FBS) initiatives to provide overall department growth and sustainment

Measures of Performance
•    Ability to setup and conduct standard tests and report results
•    Ability to troubleshoot problems encountered during testing to establish cause 
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely, organized manner with moderate supervision
•    Ability to interface with coworkers and other departments and effectively utilize resources
•    Ability to provide accurate and clearly written reports describing test results with moderate supervision
•    Ability to manage details to a level that they are “value added”  

Background and Skill
•    Minimum AAS degree with technical background in electronics and fixturing abilities preferred.
•    2-3 years related experience preferred
•    Conceptual understanding of component and system level testing
•    Must be able to read and understand written instructions
•    Good hands-on skills with mechanical / electrical aptitude 
•    Good computer skills with ability to operate PLCs and other DAQ devices
•    Ability to understand and apply a variety of electronic and mechanical instruments
•    Experience with National Instruments LabView operation a plus, with ability to learn required
•    Good writing skills using Word and Excel, with ability to accurately complete datasheets
