Reports Specialist II – Atlanta, GA
12 months (contract)
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
$30.00 / hr.

The Reports Specialist II is responsible for analyzing each report request and creating the reports either in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). He/She would be responsible for writing complex queries to generate reports in OBI and SSRS, and creating graphs and charts

Specific Duties


Maintains knowledge of technology and systems to ensure proficiency.


Stays abreast of changes in reporting needs to make updates to standard reports.


Analyze the user request and make a decision to create the report in either OBI or SSRS and determine the best way of presenting the data in the report, using visualizations if needed.


Create Stored Procedures if necessary to optimize the reports


Generate graphs and charts in OBI and SSRC based on the reports


Reviews data to ensure accuracy and validity for reports.


Runs ad-hoc queries of data to satisfy user needs.


Monitors validity of data provided to users to ensure data quality.


Corrects errors and resolves discrepancies with data and reports to ensure data quality.


Confers with management to respond to questions and concerns from various business units within the organization in a timely manner.


Creates presentations to communicate data in visual and written formats using online tools



Must Have:


Bachelor's Degree or Intl Equivalent - Preferred


Advanced level in Microsoft Access and Excel, SSRS and OBI


At least one year experience in creating complex graphs and charts using SSRS and OBI


Data Analytics experience - Preferred


Experience building SQL queries
