Responsible for the overall performance of the retail banking center as well as prospecting for mostly demand deposits and commercial loans; oversee and manage the operations of the branch with the collaboration of the Operations Officer and oversee the lending and deposit gatherings for the branch, generate profitable clients by focusing on business clientele, expanding revenues from existing clients through account additions and other services. Candidate will identify current and new customers’ needs to sell bank products, develops and make productive deposit and lending relationships and guide/advise the Relationship Managers with their underwriting, and with managing their personal and depository loan portfolio. The Branch Manager must meet and ensure an overall efficient production and profitability of the branch; must ensure Branch Team is in compliance with all related CIP and BSA/AML requirements.



Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field of study such as Accounting or Finance with three (3) years of banking related experience in product sales and lending with an established portfolio of banking relationships or an Associate’s Degree with an established portfolio of banking relationships and a minimum of five (5) years of banking experience in products sales and lending, specifically related to attracting and servicing customers; or possess the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current knowledge and focused on having banking relationships within the Miami Beach Market and/or surrounding market area is required.
Solid and current market knowledge of companies, individuals and other entities across Miami Beach community that look to request numerous retail and commercial banking services.
Must have experience analyzing financial statements to determine credit worthiness by working closely with the underwriting team. Must have several years of proven track record acheiving both loan ($2M) and deposit annual production goals of ($5-6M).
Supervisory experience is required.
Must be able to travel and visit prospected new clients within a designated area in order to increase depository and loan production/sales goals.
Must be knowledgeable of internal bank operations (wire transfers, debits/credits and loan payments) and bank products to cross sell.
Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and oriented towards providing excellent customer service.
Must have leadership abilities to lead projects and manage people indirectly; ability to lead and drive initiatives; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Computer knowledge in MS Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).
Knowledge of banking laws and applicable compliance regulations and on the completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) is required.
