Description: General Ledger Manager DIRECT HIRE


Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for General Ledger Manager in York PA.


This is for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.


Pay Rate:  $65,000 -$95,000 depending upon education and experience


As an GL Manager you will compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep office financial records complete. You may also perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Responsibilities for this Accounting Position include:


  • Supervise eleven employees charged with General Accounting tasks.
  • Establish work priorities, assign duties and workload within the RTR group.
  • Coordinate integration of newly-acquired business units into RTR processes.
  • Participation in and coordination of new ERP system development, testing and implementation as related to General Ledger functionalities.
  • Support the GPO RTR for the enhancements/harmonization of general ledger activities.
  • Manage the SOX testings for RTR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GBS policies and procedures; revise policies and procedures as appropriate to improve efficiency, accuracy, and/or cost effectiveness.
  • Provide timely support for any financial requests coming from European customers.

·         Bachelor’s Degree in accounting; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred

·         Minimum of 5-8 years related experience.

·         4-6 years’ experience with an ERP system which includes interactive finance modules
