Adecco is seeking a seasonal Safety Coordinator for Shutterfly in Tempe, AZ off of 101 Freeway and Elliot Rd!

Pay is $14-$18 an hour

Shift: Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday from 4 am-4 pm.

The Safety Coordinator will work with the EHS team to help ensure that Shutterfly�s safety program is
implemented and adhered to. This includes conducting on-site inspections, facilitating specialized safety training and conducting safety orientations.

* Conduct daily & monthly safety audit inspections of the production and maintenance activities relative to OSHA Standards to help detect accident and health hazards.
* Assist with risk assessments and accident/incident investigations to obtain the root cause and ensures corrective actions are implemented to prevent re-occurrence.
* Create daily Passdowns to inform production of their findings, work with production to improve hazards and follow up.
* Maintain and track completion of specific projects pertaining to EHS
* Observe and communicate to management safety concerns and observations
* Provides safety training/orientation for new temporary staffing associates, SDSonline training, PPE, others as needed)
* Work with Shift Managers and Leads on 6S and other facility improvements.
* Assist in delivering other EHS related training's, as needed
* Review and assist with Incident Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions follow up.
* Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental best practices in alignment with the company policies and compliance requirements.
* Help drive successful employee engagement programs.
* Perform special projects assigned by EHS Manager.

Skills and Attributes Needed:
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance laws for the general industry
* Exhibits passion, integrity and responsibility for safety of all individuals
* Ability to conduct safety training
* Ability to recognize and abate hazards
* Able to work independently on projects and collaboratively as a team member
* Strong computer skills to be able to utilize MS office products (Word, Excel) and IPad
* Strong interpersonal/communication & analytical skills and able to work effectively with others
* Must have hard work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and common sense.
* Ability to multitask and set priorities
* First Aid, CPR and AED (desirable)
* OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour (desirable)
* Experience working with VPP programs is a plus
