POSITION: Safety Coordinator/Trainer
LOCATION: Cupertino, CA 95014
HOURS: Full-time 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F
DURATION: 1 - year, with potential to extend or go permanent;
PAY: 29.50 per hour

Job Summary:



Responsible for assisting with the planning, developing and implementation of training programs. Support training staff in the delivery of trainings and perform administrative tasks as it relates to any training projects. Assess training options, including evaluation of existing training programs. Prepare reports on results from evaluation of training programs. Requires solid MS Office experience (MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio),, strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Help develop Safety training content
Document safety processes
Meet with stakeholders regularly and understand the safety requirements in-detail
Help coordinate and track safety training
Keep safety documentation up to date
Communicate changes, new features and improvements to endusers clearly and in a timely manner




Education / Experience



2 - 5 years of experience.
Skills/Experience:

At least 2 years’ work experience as a Trainer
At least 4 years experience as a Safety coordinator or equivalent role.
Familiarity with Crew Resource Management preferred.
Good communications skills
Good documentation skills in Word, Visio, Keynote or Powerpoint
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new workflows/technology
Ability to work pro-actively, individually and as part of a team
Ability to pass First-Aid/CPR training course and maintain proficiency between refresher courses.
