Our Client is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributor of both OEM and Replacement parts for use on Construction, Mining, Forestry and Roadbuilding equipment, stocks and distributes products through wholesale dealers and equipment manufacturers located in the Americas.

This position will assist in developing, implementing and coordinating programs and processes to ensure regulatory compliance in various areas of our business. Manage Safety Awareness Programs and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Safety Administration

Assists in the development and implementation of safety programs, training, policies and procedures are current and in compliance with federal and state standards.

Develop and maintain training documentation, to include training records, training schedules, vides, and outlines of training courses determine instructional methods for all site training programs. Provide operational, safety and regulatory training to site personnel.

Conduct annual safety site inspections, makes recommendations and writes up reports.

Coordinate safety evaluations on new and existing equipment and processes and maintain documentation on standard operating procedure.

Inspects working conditions to ensure all products and activities are compliant with safety guidelines.

Oversees Forklift compliance and training program. Maintain forklift training, certification and recertification records and ensure compliance with all operators.

Monitors emergency action plans; updates the plans as needed.

Maintains a complete and up-to-date Hazardous Communication program.

Understands federal and state occupational safety regulations and monitors regulatory changes as they occur.

Maintains all safety-related documentation (inspections, monthly training, drill logs, certification records, training records, policies, etc.) and updates regularly to meet all potential audit requirements.

Enforces use of safety equipment and PPE. Audit company PPE at each location and identify opportunities and advises and/or participates in problem solving activities regarding safety and process concerns.

Develop Monthly Training Topics.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Strong Knowledge of OSHA regulations -

Working knowledge of DOT, MSHA and Workers Compensation regulations – Preferred

Must be a highly motivated and motivational team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and multi task.

Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Ability to conduct in person and web-based training courses.

This position requires a team-oriented individual who has strong interpersonal skills with people at all levels.

A valid driver’s license is required as in this role driving to multiple locations is essential.

Position requires traveling to our 18 locations annually.


Education and Experience

 High school diploma or General Education Development or equivalent Associate degree preferred

6 months experience in administrative assistance, safety, training role, or similar support role

Bilingual (English-Spanish)

Work Environment

•Time will be spent on the job site monitoring conditions and inspecting locations.
•Time will also be spent in an office setting processing paperwork.
•Proper safety gear must always be worn.
•Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
