The Client/Sales Person acts as ‘Account Manager’ and provides key client contact on smaller revenue opportunities. This role will also act as a key client contact for specific deliverables, change management and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Relationship Management

  • Grow volume within the existing client base through use of closing skills.
  • Using available data sources, contact potential new clients and gain agreement on using client assessment products going forward.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Translate current Client needs to Program Staff.
  • Establish clear and realistic agreements with client in terms of schedules, deliverables.
  • Provide information, analysis to clients.

 

Sales Management

  • Provides sales data reports to management in agreed upon format and via agreed upon schedules.
  • Contribute to RFP process.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous successful experience selling into the K12+ market space.
  • Previous successful experience with “value” positioning and selling (not selling on price).
  • Previous use of sales tools like funnel reports and lead lists.
  • Previous strategic prospecting experience.
  • Experience using social media platforms in the sales cycle.
  • Experience with post-sales relationship management skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience.

 

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study is required or a relevant combination of education and experience is preferred.

 

Relevant Years of Experience Required:

3-5 years in Sales and/or Customer Service role.
