Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting candidates for a Direct Hire Sales Account Manager in Toledo, OH for an established Material Handling Company. Essential Functions and Requirements for the Sales Account Manager in Toledo, OH:

Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
Maintain and develop parts, service and rental customers.
Collect project data and compare to the current capabilities.
Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required project team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
Develop relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer’s organization, including project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable.
Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities in order to meet all of the customer’s material handling system design and installation requirements.
Develop, evaluate, and discuss possible solutions with customer.
Develop preliminary project fulfillment schedule.
Oversee project take-off, selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, process, and services.
Prepare and review proposals.
Validate the preliminary proposal with customer.
Determine proposal price and selling strategy.
Present the proposal and negotiate price, terms, and conditions with customer.
Follow up with buying influences.
Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.
Resolve major deviations from scope with team after Project Scope Validation.
Determine needs and develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.
Provide total account business activity reports and annual forecasts.

Professional
Proven track record of sales success or related academia success
Proven track record of developing and building new relationships within the assigned territory
Excellent communication / presentation skills
A team player and a self-starter
Computer skills
Positive attitude Strong work ethic
College degree or equivalent work experience
