Sales Agronomist

The Sales Agronomist is responsible for sales account management for the agricultural division. This individual will be expected to coordinate with agricultural vendors, farmers, and clients to provide them with technologically superior plastic materials that promote growth of specified products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Contact and arrange appointments with potential customers at farms and rural areas
Prepare quotations, take orders and coordinate the sale process with the factories
Tracking orders through the factories and post-sale follow up with customers
Travel throughout assigned territories to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and/or follow up on orders
Travel time 100 – 125 days/year
Represent the company at trade shows and other agricultural events
Serve as a liaison between the factories and the customers
Coordinate product demonstrations and manage on field product validations projects
Prepare sales, marketing, travel expenses budgets

Essential qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED (Agronomy or Sales preferred)
More than 3 years’ experience in a sales role
Experience with agricultural plastics sales is strongly preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
Must be willing to travel 100-125 days in the US/CAN.
