Full time on-site position dedicated to maintaining and growing customer base as assigned.  Outbound calling is a primary focus for this position to generate sales, and must be comfortable with cold-calling.  This position requires a strong, confident and relatable personality to shine through the phone in order to build lasting, profitable customer relationships, and must demonstrate a strong ability to close deals via phone.  Must be a master collaborator to perform job responsibilities and create and maintain positive partnerships. Must be a team player and have a “get-it-done' attitude with high sense of urgency.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for lead generation and qualification of those leads.
  • Serves as primary contact and lead qualification for new incoming leads generated by marketing, website or inbound phone calls.
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing existing business of assigned customer base.
  • Responsible for strategic planning of outbound call activity and creating customer call lists that generate sales.
  • Makes outbound calls to follow-up on customers’ upcoming forecast, upsell, cross-sell and generate sales.
  • Responsible for populating Salesforce with lead, account and sales opportunity information. 
    • Must use Salesforce to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activity- including, but not limited to sales calls/emails, closed sales, tasks, and follow up activity.
    • Responsible for understanding reports and dashboard modules in order to generate and provide reports and visual information as requested.  
    • Ability to utilize reporting software effectively in order to manage account base and keep track of sales trends, moving business and forecasting opportunities.   
  • Responsible for educating customers and managing their expectations to ensure a smooth sales process and customer satisfaction. 
  • Assists the operations team by actively participating in customer onboarding process, including collection of License agreements, accounting documents and labels.
  • Responsible for creating sales forecasts that meet/exceed the sales budget.
  • Responsible for AR collections for assigned customers with outstanding invoices 30 days past due and actively participate to bring account into good standing.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows to promote CarnoSyn and SR CarnoSyn as required.
  • Contributes to and assists with marketing/branding of CarnoSyn® brands (i.e. participating in development of sales tools, collaborating with marketing initiatives such as co-branding efforts and encouraging/motivating brand customer participation, etc.)
  • Keep current on competitive, technical and product information.
  • Handles conflict in an appropriate, constructive and professional manner
  • Responsible for other activities or duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years’ experience and demonstrated success in sales.
  • Industry experience in dietary supplement and/or sports nutrition preferred.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other like CRM systems preferred.
  • Must have effective, professional written and verbal forms of communication in order to make persuasive and compelling presentations to groups.
  • Must be self-motivated, multi-tasking and able to prioritize workload.
  • Must be able to think critically and be analytical in process and execution of daily work; solution-oriented and possess creative problem solving skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have high emotional intelligence in order to deal with a variety of people from executives to scientists to purchasing managers.
  • Must have a high level of awareness and interpersonal intelligence with an ability to “read between the lines' and provide stakeholders what they need, not just what they ask for.
  • Possesses and portrays a mature, professional, ethical and positive company image and demeanor at all times.
  • Up to 10% travel on average as required to attend trade shows, customer visits, etc. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
