Sales Director

Sales Director job opportunity in Richmond, VA is available courtesy of Adecco Medical & Science.

The responsibility of the position is to provide growth for the company in the Boston area by targeting and winning sales from high potential customers with the biggest available spend opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

Identify and define sales opportunities.
Create and manage opportunities by making first contact with prospective customers to promote company’s brand and offerings.
Coordinate with others to identify and implement the right strategy for ongoing value maximization.
Map out the buying process for new customers
Understand the customer’s decision-making processes, key decision makers and influencers and identifies each key decision maker’s individual issues and wins.
Develop relationships with key decision makers to promote ongoing account penetration.
Use in-depth knowledge of all company’s offerings (RMS and CRS) to communicate in a compelling way that matches customer needs, provide proof of value, and differentiate the organization from other providers.
Track, analyze and communicate proof of value delivered relative to customer promises.
Liaises with other sales experts – sales managers, field reps, strategic accounts – to agree on the right investment approach to optimize value from the customer and facilitates the handover process if appropriate.
Delivery of on-target sales revenue.


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years life science sales experience is required.
Knowledge of Sales process, negotiation and closing deals.
