Sales Manager - Software

Primary Responsibilities:

Build upon the foundation of current sales and grow new client base to reach target goals
Continual improvement of sales processes and tools to ensure customer satisfaction, reporting and effective communication
Provide energy, leadership, motivation, guidance, and mentorship to staff and assistant in indirect selling
Direct selling of company software and maintenance to US and International markets
Selling services, support, and hardware which typically accompany software purchases
Meeting sales quotas determined by CEO
Qualifying leads and maintaining sales pipeline
Solution selling (including standard methodology, writing proposals, managing contacts, and facilitating presentations and/or demos, etc.)


Successful candidate will:

Be highly detail oriented
Computer literate
Perform well under pressure
Operate with high initiative and little oversight while adhering strongly to the direction of senior management
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Have a broad-based understanding of software applications and industry requirements
Be able to travel to potential and existing clients anywhere across the globe

Requirements:

Bachelors in Business, Marketing, MIS and/or CS/Engineering
Familiar with enterprise application sales cycles
Proven track record for closing deals and strong industry knowledge
Experience in functional areas of warehouse management, shop floor execution and data collection, BI/Reporting and supply chain execution business processes.
Technical knowledge of multi-databases and high-level programming and non-relational databases and high-level programming preferred
Experience selling other WMS, SCE and/or QC-QA software packages is preferred
