OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Position Summary:
The Sales Order Entry Analyst (SOA) primary responsibility is to manage all revenue and non-revenue generated work orders for all departments in our client organizations system. The SOA is required to have the competence to manage large volume, highly complicated/customized work orders.
Key requirements are:

Technical aptitude to reverse process what was sold to translate into our Operational Support Systems (OSS). This includes complicated/customizable solutions sold to our Customers.
Strategically align with Account teams to provide solutions on complex customizable requests. Work collaboratively to ensure work orders are efficiently managed. Client facing as an extension of the Account team to facilitate workflow when required.
In-depth knowledge of the full Lightpath Product Line and the Operational Support Systems (i.e. Netcracker, Sales force, Business Objects, Nuestar, Port Out requirements)

Each SOA is also responsible for managing the Port out LSR processing

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Technical Control/Quality Control Support

Technical aptitude to reverse process what was sold to translate into our Operational Support Systems (OSS). This includes complicated/customizable solutions sold to our Customers. Work directly with the Sales team/FSE to ensure the proper information is available and accurate in order to generate a valid order in client's Lightpath provisioning system.
Participate in the automation process of Salesforce and Netcracker. Work closely with IT/software design/Product team/Project Managers on system enhancements, process flows, product development testing and de bugging to ensure implementation is managed smoothly and efficiently. Support New product launches. Perform required user acceptance testing (UAT).
Work closely with the sales Order Screeners to facilitate high quality, efficient processing of work orders. On more complex orders, research the more detailed and technical information needed to submit an order.
Enter products and technical specifications into Netcracker BOE module
Relate and implement all provisioning specific rules, guidelines and requirements to ensure the provisioning orders are actionable by the service delivery groups.
Review product specific information in SFDC attachments to ensure approval and completeness for entry into the provisioning system.
Collaborate with Screeners, FSE’s and Project Managers to ensure processing of orders are managed at a high efficiency and brainstorm recommendations for difficult installs.
Research available telephone number inventory for specific rate centers, or vanity number requests related to retrieving, reserving and assigning telephone numbers.
Manage the Port Out process daily, by ensuring the strict Port Out process is adhered to and research problems in a timely manner.

Account Alignment/Sales Team

Strategically align with Account teams to gather necessary technical requirements to ensure work orders are efficiently managed. This includes partnering with Account and the customer to facilitate the requirements through our OSS and communicate throughout the internal teams when required.
A member of the team to join on customer calls for complex orders, facilitate the process of the orders through OSS.
Become knowledgeable on the specifications as relates to your Customer accounts. Provide support to FSE, Account, SOC and PM teams when problems/questions arise to keep the work order moving whenever possible.

Sales Order Analyst
QUALIFICATIONS
a) Minimum 5 years experience in the telecommunications industry preferably with the following experience: Customer Service, Order Entry, Provisioning and technical background.
b) Project Management experience a plus
c) Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
d) Must have strong communication and problem solving skills.
e) Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
f) Working knowledge of NetCracker, and Salesforce.com a plus.
