Sales Team Manager

Publishing company in the Jacksonville, FL area needs a Sales Floor Manager to manage a current team of 15 and help grow to a team of 50. This role is based on a base salary plus commission.

Sales Floor Manager
Responsible for building and leading a team of Direct Marketing Sales Advisors who sell our products and training to both new and existing customers. Responsible for meeting and exceeding a sales quota by excelling at key critical success factors, including outbound calls, upsell/cross-sell and continued customer relationships.

Role includes outbound and inbound following up on warm leads and will manage a team of junior level and senior level sales members.

Essential Responsibilities:

Drive call center sales process via both inbound and outbound call


Develop and deliver scripts and training materials for new and

existing staff, and make enhancements as needed. Coach team to follow
proper call handling procedures.

Monitor call center metrics (inbound and outbound) and initiate

programs to increase sales.

Develop and maintain customer confidentiality procedures and


Actively participate in strategic planning, and develop and execute

annual business plan priorities.

Implement and monitor ongoing training program


Minimum 5 years sales experience with at least 3 years in call

center sales environment and demonstrated abilities in profitable sales goals.

Time management skills and able to multi task to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively relate to and interact with all different

types of customers at various levels, senior management and other departments in a professional manner

Strong communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal


Strong analytical and reporting skills to read and develop

performance metrics and reports

Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
