Sales Team Supervisor

Our client, a non-profit organization, a community resource that saves lives by working with volunteer donors to provide the highest quality blood & tissue components to patients, is looking for a Sales Supervisor to join their team. This position is a direct hire role, and we are seeking candidates with leadership and proven sales experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Tasks

  • Supervise, lead and organize the Field Donor Recruitment program to achieve a minimum 100% of assigned goals. Drive consistent implementation of results-oriented field activity, maximizing donor group production.
  • Develop mobile blood drive scheduling in accordance with Mobile Scheduling Guidelines and inventory needs. Partner with Planning Operations and Donor Services staff to assure consistent achievement of CPUC targets. Manage records and create reports on recruiting performance.
  • Conduct staff meetings and plan conferences.
  • Evaluate, assess, and monitor recruiter performance and ensure goals are met.
  • Consistently provide timely, candid performance feedback, communicating positive messages and areas for development.
  • Advise management on issues regarding Mobile Blood Drives.
  • Perform the duties of other departmental management as required.
  • Attend meetings, seminars and promotional events as required.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all other departments.
  • Attend multiple Chairperson (CP)/Sponsor meetings with assigned recruiters each week.
  • Ensure vacant territories are appropriately staffed and/or covered.
  • Make recommendations in regard to hiring, terminating, promoting, demoting, orientating, evaluating, counseling, and salary changes for departmental personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Non-Essential Tasks
  • Serve as Spokesperson as required.
  • Assist with media coordination as required.
  • Substitute for Donor Recruitment Consultants as needed.
  • Education

  • Requires sixty (60) hours or Associate Degree from an accredited technical/vocational institute, college or university.
  • Prefer a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university OR five years related experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred major is Marketing or related discipline.
  • Texas Operators Driver’s License
  • Experience

  • Requires one or more years of sales/marketing with outside sales (field territory management) experience. Prefer supervisory experience.
  • Must acquire knowledge of existing accounts and be able to conduct a market analysis.

  • Must acquire a thorough working knowledge of all phases of the Blood Donor Program.
  • Must be familiar with the community, all areas serviced, media relations and Company programs.
  • Skills

  • Must have excellent management, communication, and selling skills.
  • Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
