Salesforce Developer

Adecco is currently assisting our client, the World’s Largest Search Engine, in their search to find a Salesforce Developer. This is a temporary assignment slated for 12 months and will sit in Redwood City, CA. As a Salesforce Developer you will interpret business and functional requirements into a strong design.
**This role must sit onsite and will not be open to remote candidates.
Salesforce Developer Project Overview: The analytics and tools team help to power the company’s high growth SMB Revenue organization by delivering actionable business insights at scale to all levels of the business and building the tools to support the processes that help shape the future direction of the business. We are looking for a Developer to lead and/or participating in various aspects of the design, architect, development and deployment processes of all the Salesforce instances supported. You will have experience in Salesforce functionality, technology, implementation, and development methodology. You will be responsible for designing and documenting solutions, providing support throughout testing and deployment phases, and transitioning to client technology teams. You will work with cross functional teams to provide the personalization infrastructure for delivering novel services. You have a bias for action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at high speed. Additionally, you will have exposure and visibility to senior executives and cross-functional leaders as you evangelize the product road-map you have designed, clearly articulating the impact from your solutions.
• Mandatory Responsibilities are to own the technical solution design end to end and be responsible for architecting and documenting the solution (including providing applicable artifacts) based on project requirements and industry best practices.
• Test and validate the solution in collaboration with the QA team; enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
• Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for system design.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to define, evaluate, prioritize, and improve CRM features and functionality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve Salesforce integrations with internal systems; be proficient in advanced configuration and development.
• Support the team in what's required to move CRM projects forward and help the team innovate for creative and technical excellence.
• Provide frequent project feedback and updates as projects develop (includes flagging issues and helping to identify possible solutions).
Minimum qualifications
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience;
• Salesforce certified admin and/or developer.
• 5+ years of experience managing projects; experience as an architect and/or developer on at least 3 large Salesforce implementations (hi-tech experience preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on design and development experience with the API and experience with hands-on APEX and Visualforce development.
• Experience with front end languages and backend tools for web engineering such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, APEX, Visualforce. Understanding of SQL and enterprise integrations.
Preferred qualifications
• 6 years of project management experience in CRM with or similar.
• Completion of several integration and extension projects in development and lead technical roles.
• Ability to use critical thinking and logic skills to isolate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Superior time management and prioritization skills. Strong ownership of quality in code, client/server communication, user experience/user interface.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
