Role: Salesforce Product Owner / SME
Title: Product Owner
Location: Richmond, Virginia 23233
Pay: $50 per hour / Adecco W2
Start: ASAP
Duration: 9 month contract

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Product Owner. This person should be skilled in communication, project management, and overall sales-facing change management. Having a deep understanding or experience in an environment using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is also highly desirable.

Position Description
Responsible for overseeing and guiding all aspects of the product life-cycle. Advocates on behalf of sales teams and represents the voice of our internal customers to envision, design, and improve or implement capabilities that drive sales force effectiveness. Leads as the single point of contact for initiatives. Interfaces with all areas affected by the initiative which may include: internal and external customers, sales teams, IT, and various back office departments (e.g. marketing, inventory, customer service, etc.). Serves as product owner and liaison between sales and back office teams. Plans and directs schedules as well as budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with stakeholders on all matters. Assesses risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, and collaborates with training team to develop communication plans, change management plans, and status reports. Conducts meetings and is responsible for deliverables and adoption. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

Minimum Requirements
5+ years in program management, product management/ownership

Key Responsibilities

Becoming a trusted internal consultant that provides direction to back office and sales teams on the utilization of and other sales-facing platforms.
Manage Salesforce implementation/upgrade projects both large and small simultaneously
Work closely with business stakeholders and act as the product owner responsible for defining requirements and resources, conducting benefit analysis, and removing any impediments.
Collaborate with IT to develop cross-functional timelines and participate in Agile ceremonies
Collaborate with IT to own, nurture, and prioritize user stories
Identify and measure KPIs related to each initiative (e.g. stakeholder satisfaction, and ROI)
Align with training team to jointly develop communication and change management plans.
Create and help continuously improve reports and dashboards that help drive business performance
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the process.
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new capabilities and drive appropriate utilization of existing ones
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Stay current with core principles and industry best practices to drive deeper understanding of our stakeholders and enhanced effectiveness.
