Adecco is currently hiring 2nd shift Sanitation Tech for a manufacturing company in Bellwood, Illinois. This is a DIRECT HIRE position and you get paid weekly!
Pay rate: $15.75
Responsibilities:
- Manage plant sanitation procedures, programs and regulatory requirements, ensuring all plant equipment is clean and safe for production.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation activities according to Master Sanitation Schedules for the facility interior and exterior and ensure superior sanitation of equipment and surrounding areas.
- Mentor and motivate Janitors and Balers on shift, providing training and development to optimize performance and personal growth.
- Monitor sanitation team in the use of chemicals and proper safety procedures, checking inventory levels of chemicals and ordering supplies when necessary.
- Follow up on work orders with the appropriate associates to ensure expeditious performance of the requested work.
- Participate in regular meetings with plant management to discuss quality and sanitation improvements
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a Sanitation/food manufacturing position.
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours.
- Must be comfortable working 6 days a week (48-52 hours)
