Position Title: SAP Business Analyst
Name of Department: Supply Chain

Position Summary


Knowledge of business processes and SAP within the Purchasing, Planning, MRP, Inventory Control, Production, Warehousing, and Customer Service disciplines will be critical to the success of this position. Directly support users and corporate processes in the assigned areas. Researches gaps in functionality, gathers requirements of users and presents recommendations to teams both technical and functional. Excellent Knowledge of Materials Management techniques, methods, and tools. Subject matter best practices

Key Accountabilities:



Deep understanding of SAP Production Planning, MRP, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Inventory Control.
Ability to review and document current processes and create practical plan to the desired result
Develops process documentation for existing and new processes and procedures
Prepare and execute test plans for new reporting or functionality
Translate user requirements into user requests and coordinates with IT organization for implementation
Develop training plans for end-users
Ensure compliance to IT Policies and Guidelines.
Proficient project management skills, utilizing recognized methodologies and frameworks
Gather user requirements to develop solutions and alternatives
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Translate high-level information into details as well as summarize detailed information
Communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and functional requirements
Work with users to define concepts under direction of department management
Serve as the conduit between the user community and the IT team through which requirements flow
Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
Liaise between the business, technology and support teams
Ensure compliance to quality system regulations (21CFR820, ISO13485) for areas of responsibility.
Assist with the integration of SAP and Terumo SAP
Complete any additional tasks as assigned by Manager

This position requires cooperating with different company departments, such as R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and the other team members of the department.
Minimum Skills & Capabilities:

Must have proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
Highly Proficient in software applications/typing (SAP required)
Understanding of FDA/ISO regulations (e.g. 21CFR820, ISO13485)
Capable of solving complex problems and think out of the box
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Understand supply chain activities
Understanding of industry and subject matter best practices, trends, and concepts.
Strong Leadership skills,
Ability to handle Organization Change Management (strongly desired)
Strong Organizational and project management abilities
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to assume and complete assignments independently


Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years or planning or business analyst experience
At least 2 years experience in a medical device industry or related
Knowledge of SAP Reporting capabilities ( Business Objects a plus)
Excellent knowledge of business processes and best practices
Knowledge of SAP in Production Planning, MRP, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Inventory Control
7+ years of business experience in functional area
5+ years of SAP experience
Experience in ERP integrations and/or implementations a plus
Strong interpersonal and excellent documentation skills are a must
Ability to explain and champion concepts to a broad audience
Excellent customer service skills required
Relevant technical certificates a plus
