Adecco Medical and Science has an immediate need for an Analytical Development Scientist for our Los Angeles location.
Responsibilities:


Work with a cross-functional team to develop, adapt, remediate, execute, and document analytical methods to study and characterize processes for production of autologous T cell therapy products in Product Sciences.
Design and execute method development and qualification in support of lead candidate selection, process development, product release and stability, product characterization, investigation, and process performance qualification.
Design and execute experimental approaches and new analytical technologies and assist with continuous improvement of analytical tools.
Train technical staff, assign duties, and review data.
Write, review, and edit accurate technical documents.
Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical equipment and instruments.



Requirements:

Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related discipline is preferred with 2+ years of industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing of biotechnology products, aseptic processing, analytical method development, technology transfer, method qualification/validation, and process development
Analytical method development and qualification experience in molecular biological techniques such as quantitative PCR (qPCR), ELISA, and flow cytometry
Experience with mammalian cell culture and biological potency assays
Experience with other immunoassay technologies, such as Luminex or MSD.
Experience with other molecular biology technologies, such as ddPCR.
Experience with cell therapy products, including T cells and or STEM cells.
Ability to follow laboratory procedures with attention to detail and successfully execute experiments at the bench
Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description
While most of the schedule will be during a standard work-week, occasional weekend work will be required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent skill in Microsoft Office, data analysis software, and other applications
