POSITION: Section Head
LOCATION: Flower Mound, TX
HOURS: 1st shift / M – F / 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM & 3rd shift / M – F / 11:30 PM – 6:00 AM
DURATION: Long term, indefinite
PAY: 1st shift – $12.00/hr & 3rd shift - $13.00/hr



**Associates will most likely have to train on 1st or 2nd shift before moving to their normal working shift**


Job Description
Section Heads are also known as team leads and provide support to supervisors in the daily operations of their work assignments. The Section Head or Team Lead works within the team, as a member, carrying out the same work as a material handler/refurb tester/quality control but with the additional ‘leader’ responsibilities. Qualified candidates will have previous Section Head or some type of production lead experience within a production driven warehouse environment.


Knowledgeable of company policies & procedures as well as adhering to them (dress code, break times, etc.)


Monitors employees’ hourly production to make sure PPL goals are being met and adjust product flow accordingly.


Explaining team goals and objectives to assigned team members and assist the team in organizing to accomplish work.


Assist in resolving work problems.


Participates in the work of the team.


Provides information to the supervisor on the performance of the team and individuals.


Motivates and inspires team members.


Leads by setting a good example (role model) – behavior consistently.


Builds trust among the team and others.


Recognizes and celebrates team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance.


Helps keep the team focused and on track to meet quotas.


Ensures everyone is pulling their weight and distributing the workload evenly.


Treating everyone equally, displaying no real or perceived favoritism towards any one team member.


Maintains a high degree of professionalism.


Respectful and courteous to all team members.


Follows directions given by management whether they are your direct supervisor or not.


All other duties as assignment by management.
