Adeccois seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Girard, Ohio. The Senior Staff Accountant is an integral team member of both the local Operations as well as FICO team. As a result, the role has a high degree of visibility both upwards and downwards in the organization. - Coordinates fixed assets including calculating, reviewing and analyzing depreciation and overhead costs and allocations, disposals, asset costs and manufacturing process changes with related margin improvements.
- Calculate commissions and complete month end closing requirements including reconciling GL accounts and preparing journal entries, providing monthly AP support, issuing letters of credit, and following up with credit references for new customers.
- Maintain capital budget by coordinating CAPEX forms, creating Investment Order numbers, capitalizing tangible and intangible assets and utilizing SAP to create WBS elements.
- Actively drives and participates in Continuous Improvement activities both on the shop floor and in the offices according to lean principles
- Conducts regular variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and makes appropriate recommendations
- Concur subject matter expert (expense reporting software) - assist employee, review reports and train new users
- Support the analyzes of actual manufacturing expenses and prepares periodic reports comparing actual costs to budgeted costs
- Support implementation and fixed asset physical inventory
- Maintaining master data in the CO system in SAP
- Work in special project as required and needed

Project Controlling
- Driving and implement the project charter, goal definition - planning, -business cases– calculation and – transparency for R&D and product cost improvement project
- Analyzing the project status regarding timeline, milestones, progress, cost, forecast and provide a monthly deviation analysis and propose improvements as needed
- Complete necessary month-end tasks for projects in line with group guidelines
- Maintain master data in the project system in SAP



Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field

• Solid understanding of general accounting, project management / controlling and lean concepts
• ERP (SAP FICO, PM) Software knowledge and skills preferred
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Knowledge of process and / or activity based costing concepts

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting preferrably in an Manufacturing Environment
• Highly motivated and result-oriented personality with the ability to work under pressure
• Motivated team player, positive attitude, excellent initiative and problem solving abilities
• Ability to communicate and address challenges in diverse teams, Multiple language skills a plus
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data; create reports and make recommendations based on data
Strong organizational and communications skills
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
