The largest formalwear and men’s specialty retailer in North America. We are recruiting for Senior Analyst, CRM & Analytics, to join our Marketing department in Fremont, CA, with responsibility for driving marketing insights and strategy through the use of data. For this newly created role, we are seeking an individual with experience developing and delivering analytics projects. The successful candidate will likely come from CRM, direct response marketing, or analytics function within a multichannel retailer or major consulting firm. This is a great opportunity for an individual to take ownership of projects and grow in a high-visibility role.



Work with project stakeholders to understand and document project business objectives. Develop the analysis methodology and identify the requisite data sources and tools accordingly. Gather and synthesize such data and generate actionable business insights off the data. Prepare and package actionable and business insights for a presentation to project stakeholders and senior leadership. Communicate and present the insights and the takeaways in a clear, meaningful, and professional way. Swiftly act on feedback and questions and know when to escalate or request clarification or help. Extract, validate, and report on quantitative data points generated from marketing activities to not only measure and report the performance of these activities but also to forecast demand across multiple customer acquisition and retention channels. Develop and refine methodology to improve visibility and understanding of the ROI of marketing campaigns across various channels, with the goal to support Marketing teams, leadership, and business partners in marketing investments and budget allocation decision-making. *Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications• 5-7 years of relevant professional marketing experience, including: **Hands-on marketing analytics experience with a multi-channel retailer or consulting firm **Experience analyzing across online and offline customer acquisitions and retention channels • Strong understanding and comfort in working with data • Ability to query complex data warehouses and prepare data for analysis and reporting, e.g. using SQL and Excel • Proficiency in using analytics tools, e.g. Tableau, Business Objects and ability to learn new tools quickly • R or SAS experience preferred • Experience designing and conducting surveys and research studies • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Critical and logical thinking and approach to packaging and communicating data-driven insights and points of view • Ability to prioritize work and resources, keeping business objectives & results at the forefront of decision making process • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in Marketing and CRM, and other cross-functional partners • Experience with direct marketing and database marketing is strongly preferred • Knowledge of marketing theory and practice • Please note - this is not a pure technical or business role. Individuals with strong technical skills but lacking strong business experience will not be considered and vice versa. • Willingness to participate and grow in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with the stability of a large organization
