We are looking for a Sr Analyst responsible for supporting the development of various compensation programs including but not limited to: salary structure, annual compensation benchmarking and program review, sales compensation, job evaluations, organization structural development, etc. This includes job analysis required for FLSA compliance and other regulatory requirements. This position is support for researching market trends and pay levels, and proactively collaborating with HR Business Partners and Talent Management as appropriate. Responsibilities include:

Conduct analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization’s pay practices.
Assist in planning and implementing new and modified sales compensation plans for MSG’s sales divisions that align with established financial and business models.
Provides reporting and analysis support for the Year End Compensation Process (i.e. merit process, performance management process, and HRIS interface).
Under general direction conducts simplex and complex data models; analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries; ad-hoc reporting.
Participates in and/or conducts market surveys to determine company’s competitive position; make recommendations regarding salary grades/bands or market rates for specific jobs.
Reviews salary increases for compliance with organization policy and budget.
Support ad hoc projects as needed by Compensation/People Practices management and/or sales management.
Maintain knowledge of federal/state laws and existing/emerging practices to ensure that sales compensation programs and practices are effective and compliant.
Ensures the development, and management of controls around compensation guidelines and overall compensation administration.


Minimum of 4 - 6 years related professional experience, min of 3 years involving sales compensation analysis work.
This position requires significant direct compensation experience with a multi-faceted corporation, specifically in job evaluation, market salary analysis and geographic pay differentials, and salary survey participation and interpretation.
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience is preferred, including expertise in database management, lookup tables, macros, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to build complex data models.
The following is preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
