Adecco is seeking a Senior Corporate Recruiter for our largest client in the area that is continuing to rapidly grow! This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our client is hiring the best possible talent at the right time in support of their extensive business growth across our US locations. This will be achieved through the development of effective relationships with both internal customers and external networks in support of creative and innovative sourcing strategies. 

 

Key Responsibilities of Talent Acquisition - Senior Corporate Recruiter

  • Utilizes client’s brand, values and business strategy to promote and sell client
  • Partners with hiring managers and HR business partners to develop effective job descriptions, sourcing strategies and selection criteria to ensure presentation of high quality candidates ranging from Interns, new graduates, experiences professionals up to and including Director level roles
  • Leverages client’s talent acquisition system, LinkedIN, and other social media and networking channels to develop a pipeline of candidates for current and future requirements thus reducing dependency on agencies and recruitment spend
  • Incorporates structured and robust selection processes and ensures hiring managers and interview teams are prepared to effectively evaluate candidates for immediate contributions as well as future potential
  • Understands client’s pay and benefit philosophy and programs to effectively present a compelling offer resulting in offer acceptance from our ideal candidate
  • Uses recruiting analytics,  metrics and candidate/hiring manager feedback  to drive continuous improvement and improved candidate experience
  • Continuous explores market best practices in strategies related to talent acquisition and on-boarding  
  • Ensures compliance throughout the process

In addition to significant experience in the talent acquisition life cycle, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Effective communications skills both written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The use of data and analytics to solve problems and drive continuous improvement
  • Embraces technology and all forms of social media to creatively attract talent
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management capabilities
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as Powerpoint. Excel, Microsoft Office, Google and HRIS

 

Typical Experience:

  • Seven to ten years recruiting experience; of which at least 3 years recruiting at a management level within a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of legislation impacting the practice of human resources management. This may include Labor Relations
  • Comprehensive understanding of company HR policies and practices, particularly the client’s global and regional staffing policies.
  • Ability to consult with a wide variety of internal customers to provide end-to-end resourcing solutions, personally or through a high performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability as a functional expert in resourcing strategy development, candidate sourcing, assessment and selection.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of staffing specialists on a variety of staffing initiatives.
  • Comprehensive experience in vendor management for such services as search, contingency agencies, temporary agencies, and recruitment advertising.
  • Ability to effectively represent client’s externally to suppliers, companies, research and information sharing forums, task forces etc. on recruitment related issues.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as PowerPoint. Access, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Applicant Tracking software.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Additional information:

  • Location: NE Portland (Marine Drive and 185th)
  • Pay: $30-40/hour DOE
  • Contract for several months but can go full time for the right candidate
  • Must consent to background and drug screen
  • Looking to interview and start ASAP
  • Contract will last several months but could turn into permanent, full-time for the right candidate
