Job Title: Tax Senior Accountant
Start Date: 6/12/2018 or ASAP
Duration: 10/31/2018
Location: Dallas, TX 75254

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Completion and timely filing of state income tax returns in all jurisdictions, including gathering supporting documentation, all related analysis and research.
• Assist with the preparation of the state income tax provision.
• Preparation of estimated income tax payment computations and all other tax payments due with required tax filings.
• Assist with all governmental income tax audits, including gathering information requested by government tax auditors.
• Work with outside tax firms on co-sourced compliance processes.
• Assist with various special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Act as a role model for other tax personnel by exhibiting professionalism and dedication to getting all work done timely and efficiently.

Requirements:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Technical federal and state income tax compliance background.
Good interpersonal and decision making skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal.
Ability to apply tax theory.
Advanced decision making skills, as well as reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations.

Qualifications:


CPA or MS in Taxation.
Five or more years of corporate income tax experience, preferably within both a corporate income tax environment and a top tier CPA firm.
Experience with OneSource income tax compliance software and/or Oracle R12 a plus.


**Successful completion of a full background check, drug screening, employment and education verification required upon offer.
