Senior Data Analyst SQL and Tableau

Start Date: 5/6/2019

Duration: 5/1/2020

Location: Woonsocket, RI (No relocation assistance, per diem or travel expenses can be offered)

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: Up to $53.00 per hour / Adecco W2 (depending on experience with the skills below)

Interview Process: An Initial phone screen to assess technical skills followed by onsite interviews for selected candidates.

 

STRONG SQL skills a must have for this role

 

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative economics or related field

 

The Loyalty and Personalization (L&P) Consultant job will deliver insights and analytics around various ExtraCare targeted programs to quantify their impact on our client’s retail business.

Ability to multitask several requests, quickly assemble data and generate impactful insights in a fast-paced environment are necessary characteristics to succeed in this role.

 

Responsibilities for the L&P Consultant job include but are not limited to:

· Designing, building and maintaining dashboards using Tableau and Power BI and draw actionable insights from the data

· Writing SQL queries to run complex analysis on large datasets to derive insights.

Being able to quickly diagnose large SQL statements to identify any discrepancies in results.

 · Generate campaign analytics to understand the effectiveness of L&P programs.

· Make recommendation on automation and dashboards to deliver insights around L&P programs to enhance future programs.

· Present findings to the leadership team and various other functional groups throughout retail.

· Conduct Adhoc Analytics and support for various functional groups throughout retail and all other duties as assigned.

· 3 to 5 years in an analytical role coupled with leadership capabilities · Experience designing, developing and maintaining dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI

· Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau

· Ability to investigate and adapt emerging analytic tools and solutions into the analytic standard operating procedures

· Highly proficient use of SQL (Teradata) for extraction and manipulation of data

· Experience creating procedures in Teradata to help automate existing processes

· Analytical mindset with detail orientation

· Ability to multi-task several concurrent requests

· Ability to quickly pull together data and generate impactful insights

· To create and deliver presentations to management

· To concisely explain complex analytical finding to non-analytic peers and internal customers.

· Solid understanding of retail and/or data driven marketing

· Must have proficient to advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
