Adecco Direct Hire Team is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician for a well-established plastic company in Lincoln, NE. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for overall maintenance, which includes but is not limited to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of the machines and facility. Provide any emergency repairs and preventative maintenance of the production equipment.
Ability to fabricate parts and tools.
Access and program and/or modify PLC logic to make appropriate repairs.
Perform evaluations or analyze unique problems that happen in the facility or with the production equipment.
Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and usage.
Comply with ISO Guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Perform skills including but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Monitor and train others on troubleshooting and repair techniques for the production equipment.
Provide installations, repairs and/or rebuild production and facility equipment.
Provide preventative and emergency maintenance to full facility inside and out.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and repairs as needed
Advise cost effective improvements for new or changed methods.
Other duties as assigned by management team.

Must haves:

At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
Associate's degree in a Technical school
Ability to multi-task projects and be self-directed
Ability to read and work from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to details and be goal oriented.
Ability to learn and keep up with current and new technologies.
Ability to lift and carry 50+lbs consistently
Ability to crouch, crawl, climb latter’s, stand/walk for long periods of time, and work at various heights.
Must be a self-starter and follow through on projects.
Good math skills
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

The pay for the Senior Maintenance Technician will be based on experience but will be in the $22-28/hr. range plus comes with a generous profit share bonus each year.
THIS IS A THIRD SHIFT POSITION, hours will be 11:30 pm - 8 am M-F and will require some overtime.
