Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Senior Maintenance Technician job in Lincoln, NE. This is a direct hire opportunity. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Pay Rate:

$25.00/ hr


Responsibilities for this Senior Maintenance Technician job include:


1.            Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.

2.            Performs skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

3.            Ability to fabricate metal parts and tools.

4.            Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

5.            Access and program and/or modify PLC logic to make repairs.

6.            Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.

7.            Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.

8.            Perform training as needed to other personnel on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment

9.            Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.

10.          Construct and/or assemble new equipment

11.          Perform various building maintenance activities-inside and outside the plant

12.          Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed

13.          Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time

14.          Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.

15.          Help repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.

16.          Help to install, repair, rebuild production and building equipment

17.          Advise or recommend new or changed methods and equipment to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.





1.            Ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a self-directed environment efficiently.

2.            Attention to detail.

3.            Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

4.            Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.

5.            Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software.

6.            Ability to work independently

7.            Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently

8.            Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights

9.            Good basic math skills

10.          Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability





1.            Associate’s degree in a Technical school or 4 years’ experience

2.            7 years’ experience in injection molding maintenance, or mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repair
