Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill several Senior Operations Manager position in El Paso, TX! This position is Contract to Hire but can for Direct Hire for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for operation of the central document processing center
Responsible for the organizational, financial and personal tasks for document input processing
Comments on the financial reports and explains improvement measures, establishes budgets and forecasts and is responsible to achieve financial targets and targeted improvements in the monthly financial call
Is responsible for the optimized use of machines and other technical production utilities
Is responsible for a safe and efficient work environment
Is responsible for achieving customer and employee satisfaction goals
Is responsible to deliver according to service level agreement, maximize productivity levels and minimize the remaining cost of delivery
Is responsible for all production processes, interfaces to other departments
Is responsible for the review and implementation of designed solutions and supports the sales process in the solution design phase and especially for the cost modelling
Implements and operates a continuous improvement process in all document input centers
Contributes or lead international projects in the transformation towards global document input delivery organization and in upcoming offshoring projects in close cooperation with the global document input management team
Implements and operates key performance indicators and metrics for the whole document input business in the US which serves as an early warning system for operational bottle necks

Good understanding of general economics (cost accounting) and decision making / cost modelling
Strong team management and leadership experience
Excellent leadership skills in managing document processing operations and service management teams
Sound understanding of actual document processing technologies, tools and processes
Proven analytical and strategic thinking as well as pragmatic decision making
Experience in transformation- and change-management processes
Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement and decision making under pressure
High commercial awareness and customer orientation with the talent for supporting customer needs
Proven negotiation skills with suppliers
Strong operational planning skills
Lean management skills

Education, Experience and technical skills

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
Minimum of five years’ experience in leading a production entity in a document processing environment
Deep knowledge in production planning and steering
Very good knowledge in MS Excel and MS-Office
Good financial knowledge contribution calculation, business planning and production controlling
Experienced Project management
Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services or similar tools is an asset
Knowledge of Document Processing Technologies such as Kofax, Abby, Readsoft, Scanning Infrastructure Scanmax, Kodak, IBML, OPEX
Good written an oral communication skills
