Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Senior Project Manager role in Short Hills, NJ.  Candidates must be local to Short Hills, NJ or within reasonable commuting distance.  We are only considering candidates that meet the qualifications listed below:

  • We are seeking candidates that are open to contract employment (possibility of extension)
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / NO corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only

The Project Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing projects that improve the customer experience, leveraging methodologies such as Six Sigma and Design Thinking. Key responsibilities include establishing clear objectives, aligning resources, and collaborating across functions. Important attributes for this role are the ability to influence across the organization, to implement new processes/procedures, and to establish appropriate metrics to track success.

 

Responsibilities:
• Provide strong project management support for initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience
• Work closely with Program Leads to prioritize key deliverables and ensure alignment with the overall program.
• Apply Six Sigma and Service Design principles in effort to streamline throughput and ensure projects deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Organize project resources to achieve objectives
• Facilitate work stream meetings with team members to ensure solid and timely execution of project decisions and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedule with milestones of key deliverables
• Define and manage changes to project scope and budget
• Ensure relevant stakeholders are updated regarding project. Escalate issues requiring management attention.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage the relationship and communication plan for all stakeholders
• Work proactively and cross-functionally with the team to ensure top-quality deliverables and transparent identification of potential risks and issues.
• Serve as owner for work stream project plans and status updates.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects
• PMP Certification preferred
• Experience or certification with Six Sigma, Service Design, and Agile preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical competencies: project management, initiative leadership/influencing, driving results, problem solving/analysis, communication skills (oral/written), and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams to manage multiple priorities.

 

Pay: Market Rate

 

Shift Start/End Time:  Standard 40hr week
