Senior Review Financial Analyst

Our premier Communications Client is seeking a Senior Review Financial Analyst in Stamford CT 06901

 

This is a W2 six-month contract at hourly pay rate of $38.50 per hour starting December.

This is an onsite position Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

 

Position provides high quality reporting and analytical support to maximize financial results throughout the client’s organization. This role will involve a high focus in revenue forecast modeling and analysis reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence Reporting & Metrics.

 

Responsibilities & Details:               

  • Creation and development of all-inclusive Enterprise revenue forecasting model, to be updated and maintained on a routine basis
  • Assist in preparation of Revenue Forecast, Budget, and monthly tracking and analysis of results
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial and operational reporting for Management team for various purposes
  • Work closely with team members and other functional groups across the organization to fully understand operational flows, product intricacies, systems architectures, for effective development of financial and operating performance reporting
  • Creation and production of various analytics, project related analysis and presentation, and ad hoc reporting
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and validity of the information being reported

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Complex financial modeling expertise
  • Efficient and relevant report development
  • Strong analytical and highly motivated with superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • CRM and database knowledge (e.g., Salesforce.com, ICOMS, and CSG, SAS)
  • Advanced Excel Power and Data mining expertise using Microsoft Excel, SQL, SAS
  • High competency in creating and working with complex Excel documents
  • Clear understanding of product, sales, and operational metrics that are drivers of revenue
  • Clear understanding of revenue recognition items (Earned vs. Unearned Revenue)
  • Excellent communication to effectively deal within various levels of management or external contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to explain finance/accounting related topics to a non-finance audience
  • Ability to work independently and with team members to meet critical deadlines in high demand and fast paced environment demonstrating good work ethic
  • Ability to manage competing priorities including organizational, detail orientation
  • and prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner
