Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Service Operations Administrator in Wayne, NJ. This is for a temporary opportunity (about 5 months) that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As a Service Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within a corporate service environment. Job Functions: (Primary “essential” duties and responsibilities)

  • Coordinate the receipt and entry for closure of service reports from third party.
  • Work with Service Management and third party on issues with submitted service reports.
  • Support inventory management for third party in conjunction with internal Service and Customer Service.
  • Respond to inquiries related to open and closed service orders.
  • Other duties as assigned by Service management.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar in sales distribution, service and inventory management modules is preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.


Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a service or sales, preferred; using SAP or industry standard ERP system.
  • Experience with providing internal and/or external customer phone support and especially in a Field Service and scheduling environment.
