Service Tech Dispatcher Parts Expediter

Adecco is currently assisting a nationally known client in their efforts to fill a Parts Expeditor position in Louisville, KY paying $18.00 / hr. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below! 

  • Type: Fulltime (40 hours / week)
  • Length: 12+ month contract   
  • Shift/Hours: 8am -5pm
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 / hr Adecco W2
  • Responsibilities for this Parts Expeditor job include, but are not limited to:

    The Parts Expediter is a key position which requires daily interactions with our client’s customers, service technicians, managers and service support personnel.  The Parts Expediter will be reviewing part orders that have not shipped yet and using information gathered will determine if the part(s) will arrive in time for the consumer’s service call to avoid a technician running a service call without the required parts.  When necessary, the Parts Expediter will call the consumer and reschedule the service call.

  • Interact via email with Service Technicians, Sourcing and Warehouse teams daily with regards to managing a part order for a service call
  • Learn the various aspects of part orders, shipment and delivery dates and service calls which all involve using our our client’s  tools on their network
  • Responsible for identifying calls that need to be rescheduled due to parts not delivered
  • Reschedule customer calls via telephone call
  • Provide proper communication with updates to the service on part delivery dates
  • Deliver friendly and engaging customer service to internal and external customers by telephone, and email. Model friendly, enthusiastic customer service with an emphasis of taking care of the customer Working Conditions
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Qualifications for this Parts Expeditor job include, but are not limited to:

  • Organization, attention to detail, focus, and quick learner, communication
  • Knowledge of parts servicing and rescheduling service technicians
  • HS Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • At least 6 months experience in a high-volume customer service role
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills, specifically telephone skills
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, clear thinker and fast learner
  • Maintain good working relationships with a field-based clientele
  • Data entry experience
  • Previous customer service, appliance, part, dispatch and/or inventory experience
  • Ability to learn and navigate through web-based systems
  • One-year of experience using IBM PC, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
