Service Tech

Summary: Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning induction heating and peripheral equipment.

Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Digital Electronics principles and able to read and understand electrical, electronic and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Proficient with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, Digital insulation and Multi-meter, etc.)
- Commission new installations of induction heating equipment and its associated peripheral equipment.
- Provide on-site maintenance, perform trouble calls and conduct training at customers locations on existing equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site 24/7 as necessary.
- Self-starter and able to work efficiently with little to no supervision.

Education and Experience:
- Technical degree EE or EET (2 year minimum – 4 year preferred)
- Good understanding mechanical system and fluid cooling fundamentals.
- Hands on Induction Heating experience preferred but not required.
- Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC programming a plus
- Dual linguist (Spanish, German) a plus
- Strong troubleshooting ability with an open mind to learning and out of the box thinking.
- Have strong communication skills and able to establish and build customer relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to obtain credit card(s) and passport for domestic and international travel to Canada, Mexico and Germany
