Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in Chatsworth looking for an experienced Shipping/Receiving clerk.  If you feel you qualify please apply.

Responsibilities for this Shipping/Receiving clerk position include, but are not limited to:

  • Pulls orders for processing and replenishing stock.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist.
  • Packs product - Sealing boxes, build pallets with product.
  • Performs other related duties/responsibilities as assigned.
  • Loading and unloading parts

Position is on 1st shift - 7am to 4pm, but may vary depending on shipping needs/end of month mandatory OT which may include weekends and holidays.

To be considered for this Shipping/Receiving clerk position, you should:

  • High School diploma
  • Ability to lift 30 Lbs. unassisted
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Word, Intermediate Excel applications experience preferred
  • Experience 1 year in warehousing and customer service preferred.
  • Must be able to read and speak English
  • Forklift preferable, not required
  • Mandatory OT at end of month and some Saturdays as needed.
  • Need to bring someone on within 2 weeks or sooner
  • OT after 40 hour week
