Shipping Receiving

Bakery Company looking for Warehouse/lnventory Associate to join our Warehouse and Manufacturing Team.
This person will be responsible for general inventory tasks such as shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, physical inventory counting, inventory transfers and other assigned tasks.
The person must be detail oriented and have strong data entry skills. They should also have strong organization and time management skills, be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Duties and Responsibilities under direction of the Operations Manager Conduct incoming material receiving, counting, and verifying accuracy for materials received from vendors and preparing documents for operations manager
Unload and sort materials into pallet, racks and shelves. Able to build and wrap pallets. Place product in correct locations and monitor stock movement.  Responsible for accurately picking, packing and shipping products in a fast paced environment.
Prioritize daily orders in order to meet shipping cut-off times and required ship dates.  Maintain assigned zones raw materials/packaging/finished goods; including consolidation and date code rotation.  Problem solve inventory issues or discrepancies and communicates with Warehouse Manager and affected departments.  Responsible for ensuring accuracy through cycle count or physical counts on a regular basis and relaying information to the Operations Manager.  Accurately update spreadsheets with daily inventory counts.  Responsible for keeping warehouse safe, clean and orderly.  Warehouse housekeeping Completes any other task/projects as assigned.
 Position requires that individual stand, walk and reach shelved product during 8 hour work shift and work for periods in walk in freezer (thermal clothing provided).
Math (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units) and communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills are a must.   Able to physically lift up to 70 pounds.
 Must be able to distinguish SKU numbers, sizes, colors, quantities and designs among inventory items.
 Use warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc) safely Self-initiative and proactive
Position requires individual to be on time, have good attendance and positive attitude   Must maintain a good working relationship with all vendors, employees and customers.  Must speak English.
High school diploma or equivalent.  Minimum one (1) year warehouse experience   certification in Forklift is preferred
