Adecco is assisting a new customer located in Delaware, Ohio who a Shipping/Receiving Associate to join their team. This company is a fast growing hot melt adhesive manufacturing company with many opportunities available.

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the production of adhesive products from raw materials to finished product ready for shipping.

Other duties include:

* Check daily shipping/receiving schedule to determine work requirements.
* Unload incoming shipments and check shipment for accuracy.
* Housekeeping and general organization of the warehouse.
* Store raw materials in warehouse according to FIFO inventory system,
* Obtain rate quotes and arrange pickups for outbound shipments.
* Pick finished products for outbound shipments.
* Prepare outbound shipment documentation including packing list, pallet labels and bill of lading.
* Wrapping of pallets.
* Load finished product on truck for outbound shipping.
* Prepare small shipments and sample orders for shipping via parcel service.
* Track shipments to assure timely arrival at destination.
* Batch pulling and staging, and finished goods packaging.
* Conduct cycle counts of raw materials and finished product inventory.
* May require QC document preparation.
* Data entry of product, lot numbers, etc.
* Other essential duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience:
* One to three years related experience and/or training is desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
* Complete and accurate documentation is required zero errors
* Ability to read and comprehend documents such as job tickets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees within the organization.
* Ability to calculate percentages, volume, and conversions. Knowledge and application of metric system is required
* Forklift operator certification is required.
* Must have a valid driver's license. May require the successful completion of CDL licensure process (company paid).
* Must have excellent attendance record.

Physical demands:
* Frequent and continual lifting of 30-55 pounds throughout a 12-hour shift.

Pay Range: $14.00-$16.50
