 Showroom  Experience Coordinator          
Washington, DC
Regular hours: M-F, 8:30 AM -5:15 PM  (1 DAY A WEEK) 
Overtime required based on client visit schedule.
 
 
Requirements
 
General Purpose:
Assists with Materials Library maintenance, business center and general office management.  Exudes Herman Miller's culture with pride and enthusiasm.  Collaborates well with sales & support team.

Essential Functions:
· Greets all visitors in a warm, outgoing, professional manner, and gracious hospitality.
· Responsible for management and inventory of the business center, kitchen, café, amenities closet, which includes ordering showroom & office supplies, literature, fabrics, & finishes, and maintaining office equipment.
· Responsible for maintenance and organization of the Showroom storage areas (SPT add: relating to literature, fabrics, & finishes).
· Responsible to maintain the Materials & Finishes Library, ensuring an always up-to-date library. This includes ordering swatches and updating the lab as appropriate to ensure its effectiveness in the sales process.
· Maintains literature library.
· Assists the Showroom team to ensure Showroom facility standards are maintained.
· Performs additional responsibilities as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2-3 years business experience, preferably in a general business, hospitality, sales, or marketing environment, performing administrative or executive support, or customer service related function
· Team player with service-oriented and proactive attitude
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
· Organizational skills with high attention to detail
· Outgoing, energetic personality and thoroughly enjoys working with people
· Ability to meet and work well with all levels of employees and guests
· Maintains a poised and professional appearance
· Time management skills, ability to manage the multitude of high priority tasks with flexibility, grace, and efficiency.
· High sense of urgency and ability to work under high pressure, constant change, and inflexible deadlines. 
·Excellent computer skills : Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to learn new software programs.
