Seeking experienced Administrative Assistant to start immediately! Duration of assignment is estimated to last 5-6 months.

  • pay rate: $16+ / hour, based on experience
  • work environment:
    • on a project construction site
    • would be in the project construction trailer
    • our company will have 1 – 3 personnel on site (Construction Managers, Safety Manager); the rest would be sub-contractors.
    • The position would be supporting our Construction Managers that are on-site with administrative tasks; we have several Administrative Assistants in our home office (Wadsworth, OH) that would train this individual virtually and be available for questions/concerns via phone or e-mail.
  • Experience desired: 3+ years of administrative assisting experience
  • Type: 50+ wpm
  • Software: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
    • we would like Word and Excel test scores when receiving resumes
  • Interviewing process would be the same as previously:
    • Receive resume and test results; Senior Administrative Assistant and I would review resumes together and select candidates to speak with
    • Phone screen with myself and our Senior Administrative Assistant
    • Phone interview with Director of Construction and the site CM; the Senior Administrative Assistant and I would also be on this call with them





The Site Administrative Assistant 1 shall have a high school diploma or equivalent, with three (3) or more years of relevant experience and must type at least 50 wpm.


The Site Administrative Assistant 1 shall have administrative capabilities, exercise poise and professionalism, and be able to deal with people at all levels in all departments.


Outline of Responsibilities

To offer administrative assistance during daily operations of a non-technical matter at project sites.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist project site team, as well as other Administrative Assistants at home office, in all administrative functions.
  • Administration of project files including status reports and bid packages.
  • Administration of contracts and additional work orders (AWO).
  • Maintain calendar and filing system.
  • Handle routine correspondence for the Manager in his/her absence.
  • Audit construction drawings to ensure site has most recent set.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Necessary to Perform Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to keep private all confidential information.
  • Strong computer aptitude, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and vocabulary.
  • Ability to work independently after receiving brief explanation.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, the public and clients.
  • Understanding of building materials and construction terminology; knowledge of procedures for production of construction documents.
